To maintain international competitiveness and make continual development, lean six-sigma is one of the most significant methods. Lean six-sigma, whose essence is waste elimination, is the organic integration of lean management and six-sigma. In order to implement better, it aims at gaining the advantage of both method, deficiency of either lean or six-sigma by combining lean management and six-sigma.The financial crisis pushes CSC Company into a dilemma:its production efficiency is decreasing, the scrap rate stays high, customer satisfaction is declining, cost increases steadily, and profit gradually decreases. Under such circumstances, lean six-sigma is an important support to pull it out of the difficult situation.This thesis started from the actual production of the operation of CSC Company, analyzed the problem in the production operation, and also detailed how to implement lean six-sigma using one of the5business division. To get rid of the high scrap rate, this thesis identified critical factors by C&E matrix, worked out its cause, like high turnover of staff and lack of enthusiasm in technical and management personnel, made rectification and improvement plans and finally evaluated the plans.The lean six-sigma improves the Key Performance Index of the business unit significantly, raises production efficiency, improves product quality and saves production cost. Overall, it offers important reference and inspiration for CSC to maintain continual competitiveness advantage and market leader.
