Logistics Development Mode Of Zhejiang Province’s Coastal Port

Countries and regions, especially ports become part of the international logistics network. Currently, more than2/3international trade in goods transports by marine, some countries even up to90%. In the face of today’s economic globalization trends, the status and role in the socio-economic development of modern port is undergoing profound changes. Zhejiang Province is located in China’s most economically dynamic Yangtze River Delta region, economic province to the forefront of the nation’s GDP, but it is also the lack of resources of energy, land, industrial raw materials and other resources small province. Studying the status, trends and patterns of the province’s port logistics development, building the policy framework for the development of port logistics, and exploring port development mode has important theoretical and practical significance in promoting the intensification, standardization, information technology, and intelligent building of the port logistics economic activities in Zhejiang Province and the health of the harbor.Firstly, by the simple introduction of the basic theory of port logistics about the concept, the development process and the main function this paper we analyzed and discussed the theoretical basis, main form and characteristics of the development model of port logistics. Secondly, we studied and analyzed the status and characteristics of the typical port logistics development of the domestic and international parts. All in all, we got the conclusion of the future development model and supporting measures of port logistics for the coastal ports in Zhejiang Province.Through a detailed analysis of the current situation of the development of port logistics in Zhejiang province after that, Jiaxing port, Taizhou port, Wenzhou port should be located in the regional logistics system mode, actively expand logistics attracting scope. Ningbo-Zhoushan port should participate actively in the construction of Shanghai international shipping center, as an important part of Shanghai international shipping center, and implement the development of dislocation and the port of Shanghai, the positive development of port industry and modern logistics, construction has become China’s important commodity storage and processing trade base, become the important logistics hub in the Asia Pacific region.
