Study On Method Of Logistics Planning In Port Cities

Logistics has becoming international, as production and consumption in any country or region is worldwide. Now, internationalization, socialization and informationization compose the basic characteristics of logistics development. Port cities (refers to coastal port cities), as important node connecting sea-hinterlands and city-hinterlands, its logistics development has direct effect on the efficiency and performance of foreign trade for one country. In order to develop modern logistics, guide must be planned well first. Therefore, study on method of logistics planning for port cities is realistic and very significant.On the basis of modern logistics theory and system analysis theory, the paper studies mainly on the development target, principle, basis, content and step of logistics planning in port city. The node layout method in logistics planning is its main focus. And based on predecessor's return, this paper optimizes the number-control model and location model for logistics node. Because improving the traditional gravity-location method, it makes logistics node in port cities easier to be located. Meanwhile, making use of parameter-combination method, calculation formula becomes more applicable to the logistics planning. To the topic of confirming arrangement of logistics node, this paper gave a good solution by analyzing the meaning of logistics park and logistics center. Finally, regarding a port city logistics planning as a case, author also did relevant research by such methods mentioned before and obtained relative satisfied result. It provides a theory basis for logistics planning in port cities.
