Being the first to operate inland dry port has proved their excellent performanceon inland market exploring as well as experiences accumulating upon practices.Tianjin port is continuously perfecting their hinterland ports through the constructionof logistic network.This thesis discusses from the perspective of dry port development and studiesthe layout planning, construction idea, operating strategy and business model ofTianjin port in developing inland dry port in order to analyze the significance ofinland node to the development of ports and districts while summarize and explore theclassification of dry port and the importance of relevant developed technology to dry port construction. This thesis aims at applying those different valuable experiences tothe construction of more dry ports in the future by studying the successful dry portoperation scheme from the aspects of location, construction, operation and promotionin Huinong, Ningxia province, one of the21dry ports in Tianjin port.
