The Relationship Between Technological Diversity And Innovation Based On Chinese Listed Enterprise Empirical Data

As the rapid development of science and technology, technology diversification has become a important technology strategy to imporve the ability of enterprise self-dependent innovation and sustainable development.The relationship between technical diversification and performance of the enterprise innovation has become a hot research to Chinese and overseas scholars. Abundant achievements have been made in the connotation of technology diversification, motivation, mode, technical diversification to improving performance of enterprise innovation mechanism research.However,the existing research has a lack of empirical study on samples of enterprises from developing countries, ignoring industry differences and impact that technical breadth and depth on innovation performance of enterprise, and also has lack of exploration of regulating factors between technology diversification and the innovation performance of enterprise, lead to the implementation of theoretical and practical reference in the process of of technology diversification of domestic enterprises.Based on the related data of150Chinese high-tech enterprises, this paper defined the purpose and significance of the study, proposed, analyzed and solved three important issues.Firstly, what impacts technical breadth and depth have on innovation performance of Chinese enterprises respectively under condition of technical diversity;Secondly,whether there is industry difference of the impact that technology breadth and depth on enterprise innovation performance.Thirdly,,what’s effect the absorbed or unabsorbed organizational slack in enterprises on regulating technological diversity and innovation performance.As for the methods used to solve these issues, in accordance with the process of Theoretical derivation-Analysis-Results and discussion-Suggestion. The results indicate that there is an positive benefits relationship between technical breadth and depth and innovation performance, test and verify the industry differences between they two, determine that absorbed and unabsorbed slack would have different moderating effects on technological diver-sity and innovation performance link,the valuable and significant theoretical basis and practical reference provided can be used for the Chinese enterprises to conduct technological diversity.
