The Study On Pomegranatevs Chain Optimization In Anhui Province

Recently, with economic growth in China, our residents are no longer satisfied with basic food and clothing, but focusing more on nutrition, taste and reputation. Pomegranate, one of the special agricultural products with high nutrition is attracted by urban white-collar workers whose life standard is extremely high in every aspect. Agricultural industrial chain is the foundation of modern agricultural system. In the future, industrial competitiveness in quality, safety and core competitiveness will be reflected on the industry chain competition more and more. With the adjustment of industrial structure in rural area, many local government departments treat fruits as a major way to increase farmers’income and to restructure industry. In the meanwhile, people’s demand for fruits increase rapidly, the fruit industry in China is moving to a new epic and the industrial chain based on fruits is also developing fast. Anhui province which is one of the six biggest pomegranate producing district, has a long history in producing pomegranate and also has a great influence both at home and abroad. In contrast, however, farmers’income from producing fruits didn’t increase significantly which is bad for shrinking the gap between urban and rural and promoting social harmony. Therefore, this paper has a strong practical significance.This paper, in the aspect of pomegranate, based mainly on industrial chain theory, smiling curve theory and industrial chain optimization theory, compared Anhui’s pomegranate with others’, combined with specific survey from pomegranate producing areas. The conclusion is to optimize pomegranate industry chain extension, the industrial chain improvement and industrial chain integration. Finally, this paper proposed suggestions for promoting integration from government, cooperatives and business.Innovation of this paper:Firstly, the current scholars on China’s Anhui Province, pomegranate industry, especially research focused on pomegranate cultivation, processing and other industrial chain and industrial chain link to a specific carrier research organization, few literature from the overall perspective of pomegranate industry chain analysis, this article from the overall development of the industry chain pomegranate angle analysis, and proposed from three aspects pomegranate industry chain optimization. Secondly, the article in the relevant literature, theoretical analysis, based on the main pomegranate producing Huaiyuan County in Anhui Province to conduct field research, access to raw data, and integrate various aspects of other domestic pomegranate producing excellent comparative analysis of typical cases, and thus Anhui pomegranate industry chain optimization proposed path and policy recommendations.
