At the same time, the consumption growth, Chinese residents’ consumption share of GDP from48.8%in1978to35.6%by2012, the drop speed are rare. In order to change this situation,64.71%of our population of the rural residents’ consumption market was high hopes. In recent years, governments at all levels constantly introduced home appliances to the countryside, the building materials to the countryside, car to the countryside, broadband in fields such as all kinds of favorable policies, so as to stimulate farmers’ consumption, activate the rural consumption market, drive economic growth. In our country, because of the influence of the traditional consumption concept, combined with the rural areas, low level of income, income growth for a long period of slow and unstable, limited conditions of social security, low consumption environment, rural residents in the consumption side is conservative, thrifty, heavy savings habits ingrained, severely restricted the rural consumption market growth. Change the rural residents’ consumption habits, by using the method of how to stimulate rural residents’ consumption potential, expand rural consumption market, thus promote rapid and healthy development of the national economy is a major issue. Of hunan zhuzhou city is an important part of the city, it is an industrial city, the proportion of rural population is still on the high side at the same time, the proportion of rural residents about were higher than the province and the national level, by the end of2012, zhuzhou city’s population has more than4.16million, central city with a population of1.2million, the proportion of rural population is still around40%, rural residents’ consumption market potential is tremendous, boost if the rural consumption market, rural residents’ consumption of pulling effect on economic growth will increase significantly. This paper takes the zhuzhou as the main investigation object, through analyzing the present situation and problems of rural consumption in zhuzhou city, find out the reason for the slow growth, followed by analysis of zhuzhou rural residents consumption to economic growth pull role and influence factors of rural residents’ consumption in zhuzhou, policy is given and the suggestion, in order to increase the farmers’ consumption and promote economic growth.
