During the period of economic transformation of China, there are many disharmonies in economic and social life caused by the severe employment pressure and ever complex labor relations. Enterprises faced with rising employment cost and risk, workers wish to improve employment conditions greatly, so whether enterprises successfully adjust the relationship with employees or not will affect the economic development and social stability. With the issue of law of labor contract, employment promotion act, labor dispute mediation and arbitration law, the environment of labor law has been improved step by step; this brings out higher requirement of business firms’labor relations management.This paper firstly introduces the definition of labor relations and summarizes the evolution of labor relations theory detailed, then that law of labor contract as the main legal basis for the management of labor relationship in our country provides for the legal characteristic of labor relations, meanwhile, it analyzes the existing questions of privately-run business current labor-relation.The author of this thesis selected JH Company which is a labor intensive enterprises as object of study on labor relation management, then based on labor relations management theory, analyzed the status in the labor relationship from entry management, job management, turnover management and labor dispute mediation and management. I found that there wasn’t a high degree of standardization in formulation of rules and recruitment process during the diagnosis of JH Company, that there were illegal risks in signing of labor contracts, hours of labor, protection of female employee and so on, that there were disharmonious potential threats in the labor reward, employee occupation career planning guidance and turnover retention system. Finally, aiming at these problems, this paper puts forward legal strategies and measures. I believe that this specific suggestion for enhancing the labor relationship management level is proposed, which can provide reference for China’s private enterprise.
