| The refocusing phenomenon appears in the early80’s of the last century in America, at that time, in order to go out of the predicament of diversification, many enterprises try to return to the main business by divest non-core business. In the foundation of the enterprise strategic practice, Markides, the United States strategic management scientist, puts forward the concept of refocusing. Since then refocusing strategy has become a hotspot of enterprise strategic management theory as the object of study. After the reform and opening up, diversification was becoming a wave,the enterprises of our country, also appeared the phenomenon of excessive diversification, many enterprises have gradually realized to adjust their own business strategy, and now our country is in the important period of economic transformation, refocusing strategy has attracted the attention of many enterprises and practice. But many large enterprises of China failed to realize the necessity of returning to core business, are also expand in some field which they are not good at. The globalization process is accelerating, international competition is becoming increasingly fierce, to compete with big international companies and remain invincible in the competition, our enterprises must form their own core ability, so the implementation of refocusing strategy, returning to core business, enhance the core competence are imperative practice.In this paper, on the basis of the theory and empirical research of the domestic and foreign scholars, I take Lenovo Group as a case study, combined with the diversification process of Lenovo and refocusing strategy implementation, consider difficulties in the implementation of refocusing process, to construct a flow diagram as a reference for enterprises which the implementation of refocusing process, specifically, the article is divided into two parts:First of all, I collect the relevant authoritative media reports about the Lenovo Group, the academic circles and the Lenovo Group released the annual report, on the basis of that, write the case of Lenovo Group Diversification and refocusing, detailed description of the Lenovo diversified road, diversified predicament and concrete measures to implement refocusing, to lay the foundation for the following construction of theory analysis and model;Secondly, through the analysis of related theory, combining the Lenovo case, analyses the method of solve business problems in various steps to implement refocusing. Finally established a theoretical model of "refocusing the implementation process". In the process of establishing this model, I use the related data, detailed analysis the way of Lenovo Group to determine their own specific implementation time of refocusing, and what element make them criteria to choose the corresponding strategy of every business.There are six chapters in this paper.Charter â… is introduction, this part mainly introduce the research background, practical and theoretical significance, the innovation points;Charter â…¡ is relevant theoretical literature review, this part is a theoretical study of refocusing and its related concepts.
