| The growth path of enterprises can be broadly summarized as endogenous growth and epitaxial growth.Endogenous growth takes self innovation as the core,cultivating core competence by means of R & D investment,and realizing differentiated competitive advantage.Epitaxial growth,mergers and acquisitions as the main way to achieve external expansion,and hope that through the integration of internal and external resources to achieve rapid development.Whether endogenous growth or epitaxial growth,should be consistent with the environment,resources and strategic dynamic matching.Although Lenovo and HUAWEI are the representatives of China’s outstanding high-tech enterprises,the two from weak to strong show different growth path,comparatively speaking,one is a typical representative of denotative growth,and the other is a typical representative of endogenous growth.As the differences between the two are becoming more and more obvious,scholars have made more and more comparisons between Lenovo and HUAWEI,but there is little systematic comparison between Lenovo and HUAWEI’s growth path,In particular,based on a more systematic theoretical framework--dynamic strategic matching theory,the strategic decisions of Lenovo and HUAWEI in different stages are analyzed from three basic dimensions of environment,resources(capabilities)and strategy,then evaluate them and analyse their performance.it is probably the biggest innovation of this paper.This main line of the analysis is helpful to make a more comprehensive theoretical reflection on the growth path of Chinese enterprises.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The growth path of enterprises is determined by strategic choices at different stages of development,and different competitive strategies may be chosen at different stages.(2)The extension and endogenous growth itself are neither diametrically opposed nor diametrically opposed,but the enterprise growth path and strategic decision need to meet the dynamic change of the external environment change and their own resources and capabilities.(3)Forhigh-tech enterprises,the endogenous growth path of independent innovation through R& D will enable enterprises to have the core competitiveness so as to gain long-term competitive advantage.This paper combs and compares the growth path of China’s representative national enterprises through case studies.It is a theoretical analysis of the practice of enterprise growth theory and dynamic strategy theory under the background of Chinese system,and get some enlightenment from it.At the same time,it can provide some useful opinions and suggestions for the growth path and development strategy of Chinese enterprises. |
