Research On Industrial Structure Adjustment Based On Low-Carbon Economy In Kaifeng

Low-carbon economy is a kind of development concept that mankind put forward to curb global warming. Its core is to make economic development model from high energy consumption, high carbon emissions to low energy consumption, low-carbon emissions. The key to achieve low-carbon economy is industrial structure adjustment. At present, China’s economic development shows the characteristics of high energy consumption, high carbon emissions, and has problems such as backward level of industry, the imbalance of industrial structure. Therefore, it needs to adjust the industrial structure to realize low-carbon economy. In particular, urban economy is the foundation of the development of low-carbon economy. As a break-through point, this paper selects Kaifeng which economic development and environmental protection exist prominent contradictions as the research object, and conducts a study on industrial structure adjustment of Kaifeng from a low-carbon economy perspective.On the premise of SWOT analysis, this paper conducts the study based on the advantage, opportunities, weaknesses, threats of Kaifeng. First of all, from the aspect of industrial structure adjustment.this paper chooses the leading industries of Kaifeng. Then from the low carbon economy level, this paper analyses the situation about energy consumption and carbon emissions of Kaifeng. In consideration of the following three indicators as location quotient, energy consumption intensity and carbon emissions intensity. Kaifeng’s industries can be subdivided into four categories, namely the non-dominant industry of high energy consumption and high carbon emissions, the non-dominant industry of low energy consumption and low carbon emissions, the dominant industry of high energy consumption and high carbon emissions, the dominant industry of low energy consumption and low carbon emissions. Next, designing the four corresponding adjustment mode:alternative selection, energy conservation and emissions reduction, upgrade, encourage support. And planning the path at the same time. Finally, from the macro and micro angle of view this text puts forward some concrete policy suggestions, such as insist on the principle of three unification, adjust the proportion of tertiary industry, promote the innovation in the construction of industrial clusters and establishing the system. The innovation of this article is combining location quotient economic indicators with energy intensity, carbon intensity environmental indicators. Paying attention to the relationship of leading industry selection and the regional environment, which is meaningful in terms of theory. And based on the micro perspective, cut from the urban economy, countermeasures and suggestions will be more operational, the demonstration effect will also be better.
