Mechanism Of Action Between Comprehensive Transportation System And Balanced Development Of Regions

With the rapid development of economy, both the mode and scale of transportation are also changing. A well-planned transportation system will actively promote the development of regional economic and optimization of industrial layout, and lead to a balanced development of regional economy. Otherwise, unreasonable transportation system may bring a waste of resources, and even restrict the overall development of the region. Therefore, the importance of an comprehensive transportation system in regional development gradually emerged, and is becoming the focus of theoretical study and practical concerns.From the perspective of industrial development, this paper tenderly follows the mobility of labor, technology and capital, deeply analyses the motivation mechanism of industry agglomeration and industrial diffusion, then studies the impact mechanism of comprehensive transportation system on balanced regional development, which not only has important guiding significance for integrated transport planning practice, but also improve the theory system of regional development.Under the guidance of the industrial economics, regional economics and regional economic geography theory, based on the research of the status of transportation system planning in Fujian Province, and in-depth analysis of the evolution of regional economic development, this paper proposes a system dynamics model of balanced regional development, systematically study the intrinsic relationship between comprehensive transportation system planning and balanced regional development, reveal the dynamic mechanism of the balanced regional development, and explain the mechanism of comprehensive transportation system for balanced regional development by the research methods such as literature, system dynamics modeling, emergy analysis, simulation data, empirical analysis, which will provide a theoretical reference and practical advice for integrated transportation system planning of Fujian Province.The results show that, the balanced regional development in Fujian Province could be divided into relatively stable stage, the gap expansion stage and gap relaxation stage, and combining the historical conditions of Fujian Province, the formation mechanism of the characteristics of the various development stages were revealed and discussed. The study also found that the comprehensive transportation system is capable of promoting balanced regional development, but only as an effect of external conditions. However, the driving force of industry transferring is the inter-regional economic gap, based on which we suggest the priority should be given to the regions who have more economic gap during the comprehensive transportation system planning.
