With the development of economic and the improvement of socialist market economy system, the company face the grand challenge. Under the fierce market competition, the traditional economic capital such as money, equipment has no longer provided the sustainable competitive advantage, it forces the employer to put more attention on the human resource, develop and take advantage of the psychological capital of employee. On the other side, recent years, owing to the heartbreak incident such as the13jump of employee of Foxconn and the karoshi of employee of PWC, manager more concerned about the psychological state and occupational health of employees. As a result, cultivate the Psychological Capital of employee has gradually become the consensus of many managers. In addition, with the advent of era of knowledge economy, knowledge worker is the important resource of company and the guarantee for the success. So the study of the influence factor of psychological capital of the knowledge worker is particularly important, it is also the necessary condition to improve the Psychological Capital.Reviewed the past study of the influence factor of psychological capital, this paper summarizes the three aspects includes the personality, leadership style and the factor of organization. Based on the job characteristic model, this paper try to study the influence factor of psychological capital from the perspective of job characteristics (job autonomy, job feedback, job support).Moreover, according to the Self-Determination Theory (SDT), this paper chooses the basic psychological need satisfaction as the mediated variable to explore the mechanism of the relationship of job characteristic and Psychological Capital.The date was collected from the222knowledge workers in Zhejiang province using questionnaire. Then the author uses the SPSS17.0and AMOS17.0analysis the date, several conclusions have found as follows:(1) There are significant differences in years of working and type of job about the level of psychological capital of knowledge worker.(2) Job autonomy has positive impact on the psychological capital and the dimension of psychological capital, job support also has positive impact on the psychological capital and the dimension of psychological capital except hope. The more the knowledge work perceived the job autonomy and support, the higher their psychological capital.(3) Basic psychological need satisfaction play the full mediation in the relationship between the job characteristic and the psychological capital.According to the result, this paper provides the suggestion for the manager to improve the psychological capital of the knowledge worker. First, the company should attach important to the psychological capital of the knowledge worker. Second, the manager can improve the psychological capital of the knowledge worker through the job redesign, and employee can improve it through the job crafting. At last, to ensure the effectiveness of the measure of improvement of psychological capital, the manager should pay attention to the basic psychological need satisfaction of employee.
