The Services Consumption Research Of Urban Residents In Hebei Province

Since the reform and opening up, the household disposable income and consumerattitudes have changed a lot,‘spend money for enjoy, for stylish, for convenience, for health’is becoming a new trend in consumption. Moreover, under the current economic developmentsituation, with the ending of unlimited supply of labor,the wages doubled,the process ofurbanization accelerated and the population structure gradient changed,the endogenousgrowth momentum of China’s service consumption is becoming prominent.Serviceconsumption as a new area is beginning to enter a period of golden rapid growth.Learn from the1992-2012yearbook data of Hebei Province, the article is based ontime-series,mainly analyze its proportion changes of every expenditure, and the degree andtrend changes in consumption structure;Based on the cross-sectional data make acomparative analysis in resident services consumption of Hebei and other provinces;Based onELES Model and questionnaires make a empirical analysis on the relationship betweenincome and consumption structure; From the perspective of demand and supply,make a depthlook at other non-income factors that effect the residents service consumption. Finally,starting from the service consumption problems, combining with the actual situation of HebeiProvince,we make normative analysis.Concluded that:increases in incomes, improvingsocial security system, standardize services development, promoting the urbanization processare necessary steps in Hebei service consumption growth.Analysis showed that the service consumption of urban residents in Hebei provincedeveloped rapidly,but the growth momentum is still insufficient,far below the national andthe same economic development stage provinces’ level,and growth within the region alsoshowing the imbalance.Traditional and emerging service consumption’s lopsided growthrestrict the overall service consumption level and the improvement of residents’ daily life alot.Therefore, how to enhance the development power of service consumption from thepolicy guidance and structure specification, is becoming a new idea of ‘steady growth,expanding domestic demand’of Hebei Province in recent years.
