In recent years, with the awareness of sustainable development gradually grows, some international organizations and governments have enacted a series of laws, which are much stricter on issues such as environment and labor right protection, etc. compared to the previous ones. Consumers also pay more and more attention to enterprises’ logistics social responsibility (LSR) performance besides their products, who prefer to buy products from enterprises which undertake LSRs more actively. However, contrary to this trend, the reality in our country is that lacking of LSR is a common phenomenon among enterprises, which has not only leaded to a number of opportunity losses because of quality, safety and environmental issues in fierce international market but also incurred a few serious social problems, such as melamine-tainted milk, water pollution in the Songhua River, employee-suicides at Foxconn, false donations,etc..Therefore,the absence of LSR has become an important factor that restricts economic and social development in China. Thus, strengthening the awareness and reforming the practice of LSR based on China’s national conditions and enterprise’s specific situations are very urgent for all Chinese enterprises. This thesis studies different types of organization culture’s impacts on LSR combined with a few practical factors such as enterprise ownership and scale empirically in our country, which aims at, on the one hand, helping enterprises undertake their LSRs better in accordance with their own situations,on the other hand, helping government and consumers supervise enterprises’LSR behaviors more effectively. First of all, this thesis classifies organization culture into four types based on the competing value framework, in the mean while, divides LSR into five dimensions based on the stakeholder theory. Then according to the comprehensive concept model, the thesis conducts a theoretical model concerning the relationships between organization culture and LSR which involves two moderators:enterprise ownership and enterprise scale, and proposes12hypotheses. After that, this thesis conducts a second-order structural equation model using AMOS20.0to test the theoretical model and hypotheses, consequently, comes to the research conclusions that clan culture, adhocracy culture and hierarchy culture have positive impacts on LSR, however, market culture’s influence is not significant. It also indicates that enterprise ownership has a moderating effect on the relationships between adhocracy culture, hierarchy culture and LSR, while enterprise scale has a moderating effect on the relationships between adhocracy culture, hierarchy culture, market culture and LSR.
