Since the1980’s, scholars began to be concerned about entrepreneurship, whichbecame a hot theory in recent years. Entrepreneurial activity has greatly promotedeconomic development in China, new ventures play an important role in promotingemployment, increasing vitality of the market, encouraging innovation and promotingnational economic development. The study showed that entrepreneurial orientation plays agreat role in the promotion of enterprise performance. A higher entrepreneurial-orientedcompanies get a higher performance level since entrepreneurial orientation helps promotebusiness innovation and seize the initiative in a strategic aspect. All along, The relationshipof entrepreneurial orientation and business performance has been one of the key issues inentrepreneurial management research areas.From entrepreneurial orientation to business performance, the middle path is affectedwith the role of other variables, however, Most existing studies examine the affectionentrepreneurial orientation on performance of a firm from a single variable, lackingperspective from a combination of multiple variables. In this paper, Environmentaldynamism and integrating resources capability are introduced to investigate the influenceof entrepreneurial orientation to performance of new ventures. It not only explains therelationship between entrepreneurial orientation and venture performance in contingencyeffect, but also explores the impact of entrepreneurial orientation to performance in theway of integrating environmental dynamism and integrating resources capability, buildsmodel which concerns about environmental dynamism, integrating resources capability,entrepreneurial orientation and new venture performance.As a cornerstone of the entire research, based on the literature review, this paperanalyzes the connotation of entrepreneurial orientation, e nvironmental dynamism, abilityof integrating resources and enterprise performance, as well as the relationships amongthese connotation, in order to raise the trend hypothesis, and then test the hypothesis byempirical analysis. Main conclusions are as follows:(1) Verifying the new venture performance is positively correlated with the innovativeentrepreneurial orientation, pilot, three-dimensional degree of risk, and theresearch result is consistent with many scholars in this field.(2) Verifying the opinion that environment dynamism has a positively regulatoryinfluence on the relationship between three dimensions of entrepreneurialorientation and new venture performance through hierarchical regression analysis.Besides, resource building capacity and resource utilization capacity, twodimensions of resource integrating ability have positive regulation on therelationship between entrepreneurial orientation and new venture performance.(3) Verifying the opinion that it exists interaction between environmental dynamismand resource integrating ability, which has stronger explanation about the newventure performance and can promotes the correlation effects of entrepreneurialorientation on new venture performance.(4) Through the analysis of variance, it draws an conclusion that the longer firm lasts,the stronger resource integrating ability; high-tech enterprises presents high innovation.Finally, based on all the analysis, this paper proposed several thoughts that enhancethe performance level of new enterprises. |
