Tourism management is a major whose main features are application andpractice, designed to provide the necessary tourism management talents to the society,especially tourism industries. In recent years, the adjustment of social talent demandstructure has increased the demand of practical talents.The increasment of educationlevel also contributes to the cultivating mode of undergraduate turning to be morepractical.Based on the internal characteristics of tourism management major, tostrengthen undergraduate teaching practice of tourism management major has becomea top priority. This paper takes the practice teaching base construction of tourismmanagement undergraduate as a research project, systematically expounds thefundamental theory on practice base construction, analyses the problems of tourismmanagement undergraduate practice teaching base construction from the campuspractice base to off-campus practice base and reveals the causes of the problem fromthe perspective of sociology, economics and education. With consulting the successfulexperience of foreign advanced countries, put forward specific measures to improveour tourism management undergraduate practice teaching base.This paper’s specific research questions are as following: First, analyse theconcept of practice teaching and practice teaching base and elaborate the theory ofhumanism, cooperation and win-win theory of learning theory, which provide thetheoretical basis for further research in this paper. Second, analyse the necessity andfeasibility of tourism management undergraduate practice teaching base construction,reveal the problems of tourism management undergraduate practice teaching baseconstruction from the campus practice base to off-campus practice base, includinglack of teachers, poor hardware, lack of institutional management and regulation, andanalyse the causes of the problems from a multidisciplinary perspective. Third,elaborate the connotation, characteristics and function of the CBE model in NorthAmerica, the "dual system" of Germany and the practice teaching model ofsimulation company and reveal its implications for tourism managementundergraduate practice teaching base construction. Fourth, study the principles,objectives and content of tourism management undergraduate teaching practice baseconstruction, and according to the problems and issues traceability of tourismundergraduate practice teaching base construction management, propose measures to strengthen the construction of school laboratories and the training rooms,double-qualified teachers to strengthen the cultivation and selection ofdouble-qualified teachers, to establish a stable campus practice teaching base and soon.
