The Study Of Bilateral Economic And Trade Relations Between Laos And China

China and Laos are friendly neighbors with linked by mountains and rivers and have a common boundary of500kilometers. The people of both China and Laos are in harmony since ancient times. China and Laos both are developing countries. Laos is rich in natural resources, while China has huge market and keeps more than30years of rapid growth, so there is a huge potential of bilateral cooperation between China and Laos. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Laos, the friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two countries are strengthened in the area of political, economic, military, culture, health and others. At present, the national economy level of Laos is low, with a large proportion of agriculture in the national economy. Since Laos not only is the lack of advanced equipment, technology and talents, but also is lack of the money to develop these resources, the industrial development is slow. China has a large amount of capital, technology and people, and is developing rapidly. Therefore strengthen the bilateral economic and trade relations between Laos and China is very important to the development of Laos. Under the joint efforts of the governments of countries, China and Laos economic and trade transactions is becoming more and more frequent, and the relations between peoples of two countries are more and more close. Chinese government also encourages Chinese enterprises to invest in Laos. however, there are many problems and challenges exist in the bilateral economic and trade relations between the two countries, so the analysis and summarizes the present situation, characteristics and future development trends of the bilateral economic and trade relations between the two countries, and the countermeasures and Suggestions to further strengthen the bilateral economic and trade relations between the two countries has very important significance meaning.The research content in this paper is divided into three parts, and each chapter is as follows:The first chapter briefly describes the Laos geographical position, history of economic development, as well as the national economy and foreign trade, and analysis of the regional advantages of Laos based on the development of China-asean free trade area and the Mekong sub-regional. Finally, the development history and condition of bilateral economic and trade relations between China and Laos is analyzed.The second chapter analyzes the current situation, characteristics and existing problems of the bilateral economic and trade relation between the two countries.The third chapter illustrates countermeasures and Suggestions based on the present status of the bilateral economic and trade between Laos and China.
