But on the whole nationaleconomy to keep high-speed growth, residents increasingly rich material wealth at thesame time, the unreasonable structure of economic growth, economic growth stabilityis weak, the bottleneck of resources and environment restriction, the unfairdistribution and the benefits of economic growth, and many other problems, becomethe chongqing economic development in the new period faces the most major problem.In this background, this article from the perspective of economic growth quality thefurther study of the existing problems in the development of economy in chongqing,and put forward countermeasures and Suggestions according to the existing.In this paper the introduction, introduced the selected topic background andsignificance, and established the research idea of the article overall.The second chapter main theories of economic growth quality related in thispaper, analysis of the connotation of quality of economic growth, and in the back onthe basis of existing research methods established in this paper, the main method.The third chapter according to the method established in the previous chapter,constructs the evaluation index system for the quality of economic growth toeconomic growth quality evaluation index system is divided into four categories,28based indicators, then to illustrate the definition of the indicators, and probes into themain indicators data description and analysis.In the fourth chapter, the first to use the modified time-series principalcomponent analysis method to the quality of economic growth from1990to2012inchongqing the measure, then the result after analysis and evaluation; Second selectedthe11typical provinces (municipalities) with2012sample data for the analysis,compared the quality of economic growth in chongqing and the gap between theprovinces and the insufficiency.In the fifth chapter, according to the structure of the previous analysis this paperget the conclusion, pointed out that quality of economic growth in chongqing since1990presents the improving trend year by year, but had deteriorated in the last twoyears the quality index of economic growth, this could be due to the economicstructure adjustment and stability caused by weakening economic growth. Comparedwith11representative provinces (municipalities), found that the welfare of thechongqing economic growth and resource utilization and environmental cost although two measures to improve year by year, but with the economic development better thanBeijing, tianjin, Shanghai, guangzhou there is a big gap, it is necessary to furtherimprove the situation.
