| Under the general trend of economic globalization, the competitive nature among enterprises has been gradually changed, what enterprises relay on in competitions changed from the previous hard powers such as capitals and scales to the levels of enterprises’ soft powers such as enterprises’philosophy, values, brand images and so on. The development of practice needs theoretical deep research. Many scholars has extended the concept of soft power by Joseph Nye from the level of national competition to the field of enterprises’competition. Since the soft power is receiving more attention, its functions has becoming increasingly important in enterprises’ competition and the soft power becomes an important reflection of enterprises’core competitiveness. Therefore, the studying on how to promote enterprise’s soft power, becomes the first thing to do to help China’ enterprises to defeat the competitors in global competition.Based on the growing importance and urgency of enterprise soft power, this dissertation, aimed to promote the soft power, has discussed and studied the effectively promoting paths from the perspective of performance management system. At present, domestic and foreign researches on the relationship between performance management and enterprises’ soft power, mostly described the relationship between performance management and chivalrous corporate culture. On the basis of relevant theories and literature review, this dissertation discussed the relationship between performance management and enterprise soft power, and elaborated the mechanism how the performance management influenced on enterprise soft power. This dissertation empirically explored the influence on enterprise soft power by five areas in process of performance management: performance planning, performance coaching, performance evaluation, assessment results and performance feedback.On the basis of the domestic and foreign related study results of performance management, this dissertation has designed scales of performance management and enterprise soft power. This study achieved actual data by issuing questionnaires from the targeted corporations, then with the analysis tool of SPSS17.0analyzed the collated data by the method of principal component analysis to extract the component factors of performance management and enterprise soft power. And through reliability analysis and validity analysis, this study tested the feasibility of the questionnaires, and carried on the correlation analysis and regression analysis on the basis.According to the results of this research, there is a high positive correlation between performance management and enterprise soft power, and performance management system in all aspects has a positive effect to promote enterprise soft power. Every aspect of performance management system has different influence on different elements of enterprise soft power, which provides empirical support for performance management to promote the optimal path selection of enterprise soft power. Finally, this research has made recommendations of path selection how to promote enterprise soft power by performance management. |
