According to different types of customers, the business of commercial banks can bedivided into corporate business and personal business. Between the two, corporate businessis core commercial banking products which serve enterprises and establishments. In narrowsense, corporate business includes enterprise settlement service, enterprise deposits, creditbusiness etc. In broad sense, corporate business is to carry out comprehensive marketingactivities aim at enterprises and institutions and financial institutions. Corporate businessdecides bank profits and determines management structure, which can be expressed asfollows:1. Most of bank credit business is for corporate customers, so bank interest mainlydepends on corporate customers;2. Corporate customers provide most part of intermediatebusiness income;3. Corporate customer’s deposit is commonly in current account, thisgreatly reduce the bank cost and make more profits possible. In conclusion, corporatebusiness development directly influences commercial banks’ future.In recent years, it develops fast in the corporate banking services of BOC Jilinprovince,but there is still great challenge, Bank of China Jilin Branch have to take a morecomprehensive research in market analysis and get a reasonable development strategy. Thisarticle made a overall research on the policy, market analysis, bank-analysis, finally putforward a development strategy on corporate business and provides a reasonable basis forBank of China Jilin Branch.
