Nowdays under the background of economic globalization, the exchanges and cooperation between countries have become increasingly frequent, this also led to companies facing complex market environment. More and more enterprises realized that they need to concentrate their limited resources into core business competencies and outsource Non-core business competitiveness to other companies. Outsourcing promote procurement, especially global sourcing procurement, companies take advantage of global resources has become an important means of reconfiguring reduce costs, enhance core competitiveness in the global sourcing environment, vendor selection will affect the success of a large degree of the competitiveness of enterprises. The traditional strategy of lowest quality no longer meet modern market competition, we must establish a strict and complete standard system for evaluating and selecting suppliers, many companies have an urgent need to face and solve this problem.Nowdays, with the widespread implementation of global sourcing, many companies realize that their corporate management system and vendor evaluation and selection exist defect points, this paper use G’s global sourcing project as a research background, describes the enterprise in the global problems in the procurement process, and then proposed a new supplier evaluation index system and evaluation process, and the adoption of a new evaluation method to solve business supplier evaluation and selection problem. First of all, the thesis summarizes the theoretical knowledge of global sourcing and supplier selection. Secondly, this paper expounds the G company in the global supplier evaluation and selection the present situation of the project, and analyzed the company on the problems existing in the selection process, mainly include:single evaluation index, the chaos of the supplier management process, the unreasonable evaluation process, and analyzes the reasons. Then, through draw lessons from the past scholars supplier evaluation index system of research, combined with the status quo of G company, established a new evaluation index system, mainly divided into five:the total cost of products, product quality, service level, supplier quality, procurement risk, in order to give all indicators, to distinguish the degree of importance, this article uses the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Finally, the authors optimize the company’s supplier evaluation process, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate candidate suppliers, combined with the choice of FDEF cable suppliers, selected to meet the requirements of G company supplier team. The research method of this paper is the theoretical research and case analysis, combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, G company new supplier evaluation process, to guide enterprises to formulate industry supplier management strategy is of great significance.
