Study On The Influence Of FDI To Export Commodities Structure Of China

Since reform and opening-up, with the development of economy, China’s export tradeand the use of FDI levels are improved largely. As two important aspects promoting thenational economic growth, the mutual influence between export trade and the use of FDIstrengthens continuously. Export commodity structure as an important index to measure thequality and development level of export trade influenced by the FDI more and more important.The study of the influence made by the using of FDI in our country on the export commoditystructure can not only make us understand the mechanism of FDI effect on export commoditystructure and the influence degree of different kinds of goods, also make us find problemsexisting in the process FDI influencing export commodity structure, which can help makingmore suitable policies to optimize the export commodity structure as the increasing of the useof FDI.Based on study about the influence of FDI on export commodities structure, this articleis divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction part, about the background,significance, innovation and deficiency of the research presented in this paper, and reviewedthe studies of other author from theoretical research and empirical research aspects, whichprovides not only theoretical basis but the feasibility of the study direction for the paper. Thesecond part is the analysis of the present situation of using FDI and the export commoditystructure. This paper shows the present use of FDI and situation of the export commoditystructure in China from different aspects, which also provides a data basis for next empiricalanalysis. The third part is the path analysis of using FDI influencing the export commoditystructure. The analysis is from direct effects and indirect effects two aspects, which can helpfinding problems existing in the process FDI influencing export commodity structure andmaking more suitable policies. The fourth part is the empirical analysis part. In this part Imeasured the influences of using FDI on primary products, manufactured products,mechanical and electrical products and high-tech products export respectively by establishingthe econometric model, which can help making different investment policies for differentindustries. The fifth part is about the problems FDI impact export commodities structure. Inthis part problems about FDI input structure, technology spillover effect, the extrusion and the influence to the domestic enterprises of industrial safety are analyzed. The sixth part issuggestions about optimizing export commodities structure by the using FDI. According tothe current status of the use of FDI and the export commodity structure, the path of using FDIaffect export commodity structure and the existing problems, suggestions are made, whichcan help optimizing the export commodity structure in using FDI.
