"Migration" is becoming more prevalent in the context of rapid industrialization and urbanization in today’s China, the lack of labor is a direct problem that the households must face. The impotent element of agricultural technology progress-chemical fertilizer has became the primary choice of maintaining or improving crop yields. Whether non-farm employment will cause excessive use of chemical fertilizers, and will become the pressure to rural ecological environment? Many scholars in different fields increasingly pay attention to this issue. Under the goal of "optimizing structure, improving efficiency, lowering consumption and protecting the environment", it will undoubtedly become a torture of state and government as well as many scholars. In order to discuss on this subject, we should pay attention to "migration", which strips labor from agriculture production mostly, while the migration is entwined with remittance, in fact, we should focus on the common mechanism of "migration" and "remittance" on the chemical fertilizer use.At present, the domestic and foreign scholars have discussed the influencing factors of chemical fertilizer use based on the household microeconomic, and focus on the characteristics of personal characteristics of the farmer’s household and family characteristics, few scholars have made a thorough inquiry about the influence of migrating behavior and remitting behavior on the chemical fertilizer use. This paper attempted to explore the influencing mechanism of migrating behavior and remitting behavior on the chemical fertilizer use from the household perspective. At the same time, combined with the local planting situation of the research region-three villages from the northeast of Jiangxi province, this paper has made a detailed analysis about fertilization use, in order to analysis the influencing mechanism of migrating behavior and remitting behavior on the chemical fertilizer use comprehensively and systematically, and provide effective policy suggestions for guiding the farmers to use fertilizer scientifically and reasonably. Based on the above arrangement, this paper is divided into six chapters:Chapter one is the introduction section, which put forward the research question, interpret research background, explain research purpose and significance, present technical route and possible innovation and shortage. Chapter two is the literature review section, which included migrating behavior, remitting behavior, and chemical fertilizer using behavior. Chapter three is research design section, which accounted for the theoretical framework, theoretical hypothesis, and as well as the economic model that paper uses. Chapter fore began with the regional overview and a sample selection, and then there are comparative and descriptive statistic analysis of chemical fertilizer using behavior. Chapter five is the empirical analysis section, which established the Tobit model and OLS model, in order to test the relationship among the migrating behavior, remitting behavior and the chemical fertilizer using behavior more accurately and scientifically. Chapter six is the policy recommendations section, which put forward scientific and effective suggestions according to the results of the empirical analysis.
