Inventory management refers to the management of the process of commoditycirculation number, mainly in ensuring the normal business activities of the premiseof the article inventories maintained at a reasonable level, to understand the dynamicinventory, timely, adequate replenishment proposed, to avoid over deposit or stock,reduce inventory space, reduce total cost of inventory, inventory control of funds usedto increase capital turnover. Inventory management in the modern enterprise has apivotal role, it is necessary to conduct effective research inventory management andimplementation, especially for the commodity industry, because of its largeconsumption, many categories, a huge number of customers, if inventory is too small,will make the enterprise service levels decreased significantly affect product profitsand corporate reputation; If the inventory is too high, it will increase the stock ofinventories space and inventory storage costs, thereby increasing the cost of theproduct, the impact of the time value of money and the opportunity to gain. Therefore,the commodity industry, production and operation, the greater need for an effectiveinventory management system to ensure the smooth conduct of its business activities,thus enabling enterprises to maximize the benefits of play, competition in the marketescape out, win more customers; inventory management optimization for theenterprise, has a very important practical significance.In this paper, CF’s inventory management for the study, the CF’s inventory of rawmaterials, in-process inventory and finished goods inventory conducted in-depthresearch. First, investigate the status of CF inventory management company, raised anumber of problems exist in CF inventory management company, such asstock-oriented mode of production and the production plan makes rough inventoryremains high, the original EOQ model fails to control raw materials and confusion,and so the problem of the lack of information management control caused by thematerial. After a situation analysis and identify the causes of the problem, followedrespectively product management, product management and materials management in doing the corresponding control optimization, such as by strengthening salesforecasting, improve planning mode and manner of the introduction of third-partylogistics finished Management is optimized; through the establishment of streamlinedproduction lines, strengthen product production planning control and enhance on-sitemanagement and control methods in product management made adjustments; throughthe optimization of the EOQ model, materials ABC classification and VMIapplication and company information construction management of raw materials wereoptimized. Finally, we summarize the main conclusions and methods of this article,the company developed a CF inventory management rules and regulations andprocesses to reduce waste, improve inventory turns, to bring real benefits.
