Since China’s entry into WTO, with the improvement of economy level anddevelopment of technology, the share of trade in services increases apparently and theservice structure gradually evolves to knowledge-based and technology-intensiveindustries. However, the transport and tourism service-oriented traditional trade service isstill in dominant, of which the share is more than half. There are still lots of problems inthe process of the evolution of service trade structure, which hindering the enhancementof our international competitiveness in service trade. In order to analyze the tend ofevolution of the service trade, find the problems in the process of evolution of servicetrade, and improve the international competitiveness in service trade, the paper usesindicators to compare the exports volumes and proportion in different industries. Andthen have the research on index of M, NRCA and TC through empirical study. On thebasis of the above research, the paper makes the factor and principle componentregression analysis to make the empirical study of factors that influence the evolution ofthe service trade structure. The result shows that during the evolution process of theservice trade structure, there is a trend of evolution to the high value-added industries.But the traditional service trade are still dominant, resulting the lower internationalcompetitiveness in the dynamic evolution of service trade structure. And human capital,industrial structure, and development level of economics are the three main factors thatinfluence the evolution of our country’s service trade structure. Then the paper makesrelevant suggestions to optimize the structure of China’s service trade structure. That isenhancing the level of human capital; promote the upgrading of technology level, and theintegration of industries. So that we can promote the evolution of service trade to ahigher class and enhance the international competitiveness of our service trade.
