A Study On Optimization Of China's Service Trade Structure

With the emphasis of the global economy gradually transferring to the Service Industry, international trade in services has grown quickly since the 1980's, service trade structure has improved, and the proportion of traditional service has declined continuously, while the share of knowledge-intense service trade grows rapidly.After years of expansion, development in China's economy and trade in goods consumed much energy resource, the trade friction has been increasing as well, so there is urgent need to develop trade in service and to transfer the mode of trade and economic growth. China's service trade started later than the United States and other developed countries, and drops far behind the developed country with the long-standing trade deficit. China's trade in service would rather like to enlarge the quantity rather to improve the service trade structure optimization. causing severe service trade structure imbalance, with the representation of too high traditional labor-intensive service trade structure, and too low modern knowledge-intensive service trade structure. The develop space and potential of China's trade in service is large, it's very important to avoid to ignore structure improvement.This paper clarified the connotation and characteristics of service trade and service trade structure, and then promotes the theoretical analysis using the relevant economic theories on economic growth, and the development situation of the world's service trade structure, searching the optimization direction of service trade structure. Secondly, analyses the service trade structure of China from two aspects such as traditional and modern service trade and producer and non-producer trade service, study service trade data in 2000-2008 in China from two dimensions such as the value and competitiveness, make analysis and comparison with the USA, UK and India to service trade structure and change trend laterally and longitudinally. Finally, according to the existing problems, the paper analyze the deficiencies and propos the referenced suggestions.
