Lean production is to manufacture, eliminate malfunction, the elimination of allwaste, to enter the zero defects and zero inventory. Generally speaking, the ToyotaAuto Body Company of Japanas the representative of the mode of production is theproduction organization and management methods are most suitable for themodernmanufacturing enterprise, also known as the mode of production as the leanproduction. Compared with the traditionalmode of production, the superiority of leanproduction is mainly manifested in the following aspects:1, the human resourcesneeded and the traditional mass production in comparison,energy reduction of up to50%. Product inventory.2, productioncan reduce the mass production to thetraditional25%.3, the new product development cycle can be shorten half.4, thefactorytakes up most space is reduced by50%. Lean production is the pursuit ofproduction is reasonable and efficient, can producehigh quality to adapt to variousrequirements of the production technology products. Therefore, the timelyintroduction of the concept of lean production, and starting from the actual situationof the company, both through the actual industrial productioncombination, become anorganic whole, minimizing waste, and to ensure zero defect products.The company is mainly engaged in diesel engine high pressure injection pumpproduction, the company’s comprehensive strengthin similar enterprises in the country,ranked in the top2, the assembly shop is mainly responsible for the fuel injectionpumpassembly, performance test and assembly and packaging..However, with thedevelopment of global manufacture technologyand management level, the marketcompetition is increasingly intense. Tends to individuation and diversification, thecompetitionbetween enterprises become increasingly fierce environment in marketdemand, only to change the mode of production of existingbackward, theimplementation of advanced lean production is the inevitable choice to enableenterprises to obtain a space for one person, and for the long-term development in thefierce market competition ability. Therefore, introducing the concept of leanproduction, integrate the existing resources, to modernize the present situation ofworkshop, appears to be imperative. In this paper, firstly, introduces the company’sassembly plant to promote the objective of lean production research background andresearch; secondly, through the analysis of the status anddiagnosis within the assembly shop, the basic principle of lean production and organic combining withproduction practice,research on the implementation of general assembly shopleanimprovement plan; at the end of the company’s assembly plant inlean productionpush forward the key put forward their own proposals, hoping to be helpful to thecompany’s assembly plantand other enterprises lean production implementation.In this paper, the assembly workshop production experience, andcombining thebasic principle and lean production as the foundation, puts forward a reform plan tothe assembly shop, and verified in actual production. The results show that: from thecharacteristics of assembly shop itself, and the combination of lean productionconcept as guidance management strategy, can improve the current production statusin a certain extent, improve production efficiency, reduce product inventory. Thegovernorassembly line, pump body assembly line, the actual assemblyprocess pumpassembly packing line test, using the process of equalization principle of leanproduction management system, re adjustment of each step in the process, so that theproduction efficiency of governor assembly line rate increased from70.66%to94.23%,improve23.57%, each governor assembly productioncycle is shortened from243.57seconds to211.56seconds; the pump body assembly production efficiency wasincreased from74.32%to91.23%, rising to16.81%, each pump assemblyassemblyproduction cycle is shortened from988.41seconds to929.50seconds; the pump bodyassembly line productionefficiency was increased from68.66%to95.7%, increasedby27.04%, each pump assembly packaging production cycle is shortened from921seconds to754seconds. The equipment faultgovernor assembly line outage ratedecreased from2.56%to0.67%; the pump body assembly equipment assembly lineoutage rate decreased from2.56%to0.67%; the equipment fault pumpassemblypacking line outage rate decreased from4.17%to0.24%.
