Relationship Between Fujian Manufacturing Industry Agglomeration And Economic Growth

Industrial agglomeration is a worldwide economic phenomenon, it is a lot of enterprises according to certain economic ties to focus on a particular area, form an industrial community similar to biological organism. At home and abroad a large number of case studies show that compared with the industrial concentration, industry gathering the competitiveness of the enterprise have stronger, faster growth, better ability of innovation. As the world’s one of the basic characteristics of industrial organization, industrial cluster has become the mainstream of economic development. Agglomeration regional advantage industry continues to grow and become a regional economic pillar, driving the entire region’s economic growth. Is an important part of the channel west bank economic zone in fujian province, are endowed with cross-strait exchanges and cooperation between the people first try region and the eastern coastal region localization of important base of advanced manufacturing industry, manufacturing industry agglomeration level and development condition directly affect the regional industrial transformation and upgrading and structural optimization, will affect China’s coastal areas economy layout. At present mainly concentrated on the study of the regional industry cluster strategy to explore at the provincial level, individual industry development model and the analysis of the influencing factors of industrial agglomeration, etc., it is lack of space on the manufacturing industry agglomeration level of recognition and cluster analysis of the measurement. This article will use the location quotient, spatial gini coefficient and industry agglomeration index to measure and evaluation on the manufacturing industry agglomeration level in fujian province. The results show that the nine cities in fujian province has been formed the distinctive industrial clusters. The regional central city of relative equilibrium, the development of the industry city’s industry development is relatively concentrated. Single manufacturing agglomeration degree together with the manufacturing agglomeration degree is not present the consistency. Traditional natural resource intensive industries and labor intensive industries have polarised spatial agglomeration level, and heavy chemical industry agglomeration effect is obvious in the diffusion effect. Finally, respectively, based on resources endowment, collaborative symbiosis, economies of scale and the government lead four manufacturing industry cluster formation mechanism is analyzed.
