A country’s level of economic development reflects on the level of its industrialstructure and industrial development. Financial as context is an important part ofnational economy, plays an indispensable role in the development of economy. And thefinancial development is very important to the adjustment of industrial structure. Theoptimization of industrial structure, need the support of the financial system, as theblood supply system, it can be said that the support of the financial system is animportant guarantee of industrial structure adjustment.Exist at present, China’s regional economic development is not balanced condition,the region between the industry present situation and the financial level difference isvery big, this is for the study of different parts of the relationship between industry andfinance provides an important material. At present, in the country under the backgroundof "central rise" strategy, in Shanxi Province as the central provinces, is the nationalimportant energy base, plays an important role in the development of national economy,financial development level is relatively backward, but shanxi financial systemefficiency is not high, there is also a resource-based industry to industry developmentproportion is too large, agriculture, service industry accounted for the small, lowresource utilization of a series of problems, this paper argues that the financial supportin shanxi industrial structure adjustment problems are of great value.Research content of this article is based on the relationship of financial andindustrial development, the comprehensive study on the development of the shanxifinance and industry, on the basis of the reality of the focus on the research on the roleof the industrial structure optimization and adjustment of financial development. Mainlyon the research methods of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, the combinationof theoretical research, in this paper summarizes the theory about financial developmentand industrial development at home and abroad, based on the further systemsummarizes the adjustment of industry structure theory and the theory of financialdevelopment as well as the relationship between them. On the basis of theoreticalanalysis, comprehensively analyzed the current situation of the development of shanxi’sindustry and the financial, and analyzed the financial impact on industrial structureadjustment, through the analysis to understand the financial development in Shanxi Province in the aspect of promoting industrial structure adjustment of status.Empirical analysis, this paper has collected1993-2012shanxi economic data, financialand industrial development of shanxi industrial structure and the relationship betweenthe financial development has carried on the empirical research, selected the financialscale indicators, structural indicators and efficiency indicators of the three financialdevelopment index and industrial structure optimization index indicators to study theeffect of financial development on adjustment of industry, in the process of empiricalresearch, through the establishment of the VAR model, granger test and impulsefunction diagram and cointegration analysis, to study the short-and long-termrelationship between financial development and industrial structure adjustment, todetermine the quantitative relation between them. Through empirical research, foundthat financial development and industrial structure, there are both short-term andlong-term equilibrium relationship between indicates that the development of financialmarkets is an important power of the industrial structure optimization and adjustment.Through the above research, this paper argues that the scale of the financial markets,financial structure and financial efficiency level affects the adjustment of industrialstructure, the development of financial markets can promote the adjustment of industrialstructure. Finally, combined with the reality of financial development and industrialstructure in shanxi, and the conclusion of this article. From improving the financialecology, strengthen the policy financial support, to vigorously develop the capitalmarket and actively into the industrial investment fund, improve credit market fundsusing multiple perspectives and put forward the policy Suggestions on strengtheningfinancial support in shanxi industrial structure adjustment.
