China and Japan have entered the final stage of development of feudal society during17-18century, although there was a big difference of institutions between this two countries,but they were invariably implemented the “closed-door policy” in foreign relations. However,the lock does not mean that the country was completely isolated from the outside world, if itwas linked with international trade in East Asia to expedition, that can called the limitedopening under the control of the country’s political rights and also named Canton、Nagasaki“one port to trade” trade patterns. Speaking on the output product structure, the bulk exportcommodity of Canton include raw silk and silk、procelain、tea, major export commodityinclude cotton and sugar; the bulk export commodity of Nagasaki was precious matal, includegold、silver、copper, major export commodity include marine product、debris、grain. Speakingon the input product structure, the bulk import commodity of Canton include precious matal(especially silver)、spice, major import commodity include rice; the bulk export commodity ofNagasaki was silk、 fabric, major import commodity include sundries. Through thecomparative analysis can be seen, as the core trade commodity, raw silk and silver providedan important gurantee for good functioning of the Asia trade, it also promote the developmentof social and economic of the bilateral. But, since the diversity of the level of socio-economicdevelopment in both countries and the impact strength of “close-door system” on the twoports, there was a big difference on export commodity level and flow ranges of Canton andNagasaki; Canton as the important trade center of Asia and the world, no matter the tradevolume、value of trade or the flow ranges of commodity that Nagasaki can not be matched.However, on the eve of the advent of transition in modern east Asia, the two ports playeddifferent role on the development of their respective countries, and also affected the earlymodern development process of this two countries.
