| This study examined cosmetic surgery that is the most essential and competitive in the Korean medical tourism industry. Researches on Korean Wave, Korean tour intention, and Korean cosmetic surgery were performed, and comprehensively a literary study, survey, and statistical investigation were conducted. This study conducted a survey targeting female university students in Wuhan, and hypotheses established by using the SPSS statistical program were verified. Study results are as below.(1) A reliability analysis on Korean Wave preference was conducted, and the reliability turned out to be high. And whether Korean Wave preference, Korean cosmetic surgery image, and Korean tour intention varied with grades was analyzed, and as a result, there was no significant difference.(2) A correlation analysis was conducted on major variables of Korean Wave preference, Korean cosmetic surgery image, and Korean tour intention. As a result, all the variables were correlated one another.(3) A regression analysis was conducted for hypothesis verification. On verification of hypothesis1, Korean Wave preference turned out to significantly influence Korean cosmetic surgery image. On verification of hypothesis2, Korean Wave preference turned out to significantly influence Korean tour intention, and Korean music and Korean products turned out to largely influence Korean tour intention in order. On verification of hypothesis3, Korean tour intention turned out to significantly influence Korean cosmetic surgery image.(4) A difference could be found through descriptive statistics and hypothesis verification. While as a result of descriptive statistics on Korean Wave preference, Korean celebrity and Korean drama turned out to have high preference in order, as a result of a regression analysis, Korean music and Korean food turned out to have high influence in order.The study has a meaning in that it provided appropriate measures and strategic baseline data for attracting potential medical tourists. |
