Since China has reformed and opened for more than30years, our state has achieved remarkable economic achievements. The annual growth rate of average economy has been close to10%with the increasing year by year, the gross domestic product has currently surpassed Japan and ranked second in the world. People’s living standards significantly changed gradually, to further strengthen the comprehensive national strength. Consumer promote economic growth as the "troika", one of his great contributions contributed to the central government to expand domestic demand as an important way to ease the international financial crisis. At the same time, the current structural imbalance of domestic consumption, consumer demand, especially rural residents lack the power consumption, limiting the further growth of our economy. China’s large rural population, so far nearly50%of the population still lives in rural long-term, so the huge potential of rural consumer market. With the development of China’s future rural areas, rural consumption is the most dynamic source of economic growth in China to force future. Therefore, improving farmers’ income, improve the consumption environment, a reasonable guide for rural consumption to expand domestic demand and promote economic growth is significant. This paper analyzes the current situation of rural consumption starting, using a variety of analytical methods for some of the key factors constraining rural consumption empirical analysis, try to find the root cause of the rural consumer constraints, to provide some suggestions and opinions with a reference value for the development of countermeasures.There are three parts in this paper:The first part describes the positive impact on rural consumer market concepts and the rural consumer market brought economic growth, on the basis of analysis of the many characteristics of rural consumer market. The second part, in terms of a combination of quantitative analysis and statistical knowledge of economics, econometric analysis using Eviews software to1990-2012years of the time series data for the data resources, rural consumption estimated by regression analysis and correlation analysis the contribution of the market economy. Find out the similarities and differences between the results of the model by estimating and comparing the level of consumption of urban residents in the market economy, the contribution rate, the contribution rate of China’s rural draw the consumer market is much lower than the urban consumer market.Finally, the rural consumer market for different contribution rate of economic growth to make summary analysis can be found further to enhance the contribution of rural consumption market policies and measures.
