Agriculture occupies an important place in the national economy in our country, the development of the agricultural products logistics plays a vital role in the development of agriculture. In recent years, our country’s implementation of the western development strategy has made a lot improvement in agricultural development of Shaanxi Province. Agricultural production increases year by year and bumper harvest is earned every year. But problems also occur. Low efficiency of agricultural products logistics, complicated circulation, distribution and not-in-time such as not timely issue lead to a large proportion of agricultural products to rot in the process of transportation, especially fruits and vegetables. All of above cause great loss. And too much logistics links and high transport costs caused by irrational distribution make the price of the affordable agricultural products several times more expensive when they are sent to the consumers. Therefore, setting up a reasonable agricultural logistics distribution network and reducing transportation costs is one of the problems which urgently need to be solved for Shaanxi Province agricultural products logistics, especially for fruits and vegetables.This paper first introduces the domestic and foreign scholars’study on agricultural products logistics. On the basis of that, this paper introduces the theoretical knowledge of the concept of logistics of agricultural products. Then this paper introduces the development of agricultural product logistics in developed countries (the United States, Japan, the Netherlands). After the contrast, problems of agricultural products logistics development are found and then the paper summarizes the significance of developing agricultural products logistics in our country. At the same time, this paper introduces the concept of distribution network. Meanwhile, the status of the development of agricultural products logistics and the problems in the distribution network for fruits and vegetables in Shaanxi Province are analyzed. The paper makes the province’s problems detailing to each municipality, finding multi-level distribution network is main form, especially in Xi’an City and selects the form of. On this basis, it builds a model for minimize costs and use it to solve an example. In the process of solving, the genetic algorithm and Matlab are used. Finally, this paper puts forward Some suggestions for Shaanxi Province such as infrastructure, cultivation of talents and information technology, etc.
