Population migration is a social phenomenon, commonly found in varioushistorical periods. The large scale of population migration produced profound effectto social, economic and culture.According to statistic information of Mongolian Statistic Bureau, as of2012,Mongolian population is reached at2755000numbers. In recent years, populationmigration to the capital city is increasing. In2011, the population of Ulaanbaatar city,Mongolia has increased by55.1thousand,44.8%which is migrated from rural areas.The main reason of that huge population migration is since1990, Mongolia hastransferred from centralized economic into free market economic system. As ofresult that, seventy years of Mongolian social lifestyle has changed fundamentally,and economic, political, cultural and social mobility have been as big changes.Economic and social decline brought the people’s low income, quality of lifedeteriorates, and increasing unemployment, the majority of the population issuffering from a state of poverty. Migrants encountering a lot of difficulties such asdrop out schools, cannot get medical care, social services etc. Therefore need tomore attention at the employment status of migrant rather than considering the otherissues of population migration. Solving the employment problem immigrants, canguarantee their basic living, solve the problems of people’s livelihood, can also bringa guarantee for social peace and sustained and healthy development.Because of that,I chose the topic of purpose, which is detailed study in my thesis.
