Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy. It has an importantposition in economic development. However, agriculture is the natural weak industry,not only faces natural risk, but also faces the strong market risk. Therefore, allcountries in the world work hard to develop agricultural insurance, guarantee theagricultural economy and the healthy and stable development of rural society. Ourcountry is agricultural leading country, developing agricultural insurance companyand building agricultural security system has become an important historical task inthe new rural construction. As a national agricultural insurance company, SAMIC hassignificant mission to carry out the country and insurance policy, service to”threeagricultural aspects”, to promote the sustainable development of agriculture. Furtheron, SAMIC has important roles on exploring the mutual insurance system andbuilding the agricultural insurance system with Chinese characteristics.After years of development, the company has preliminarily become widecoverage, all functions and strong insurance. However, there are still insufficient suchas brand construction, talent training, product innovation and financial management.Therefore, this study discusses the issue of enterprise development strategy accordingto the development of the company,,not only has an important reference value for thesunlight agricultural insurance companies, but also for strategy formulation andimplementation of other insurance companies also has reference significance. Themain content of this study include:(1) Strategic environment analysis of SAMIC agricultural insurance company.Base on analysis macro environment and competition environment that SAMICagricultural insurance company is facing, this study system analysis company’sinternal environment using the historical analysis and empirical analysis method,discuss company’s strategic advantage and disadvantage basing on strategic analysis framework, and parsing the company facing the market opportunities and threats.(2) The corporate level strategy of SAMIC agricultural insurance company.Based on the reality of development of company, this study designs the company’sfuture strategic goal and the guiding ideology, and discusses the strategic choice tothe company using the SWOT method. On this basis, further analysis some keyabilities of the company such as the legal system, professionals, brand reputation,investment management, information technology and product innovation.(3) Smart strategic analysis of SAMIC agricultural insurance company. In linewith the strategic objectives, on the functional strategy level, this study analyzes thecurrent main methods and main problems existing from four aspects: in the brandconstruction, product development, personnel training and fiscal management.(4) Countermeasures and Suggestions on the implementation of strategy ofSAMIC agricultural insurance company. Based on theoretical and empirical analysis,this study proposed the SAMIC agricultural insurance company strategyimplementation countermeasures, mainly including: promoting connotativedevelopment, heighten the enterprise brand, improve the level of professionalism,foster high level personnel; Strengthen innovation ability, build a perfect productsystem; Strengthen internal control and standardize the financial managementprocess.
