Traditional Manufacturing Enterprise Information Model

In recent years, the rapid development of information technology has influenced andchanged people’s lives in many ways. Application of information concepts and ideas haschanged so many industry enormously. Especially in the field of manufacturing,Information technology and network management thinking deeply changing the profitmodel, competitive environment and competitive way of manufacturing enterprise.There is too much information model, so that it is very difficult for people to choose theappropriate model, computer applications and the right embodiment. This paper brieflyintroduced the concepts such as informationization and manufacturing enterpriseinformationization. It analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the existinginformation model. According to the deficiencies of the existing information model, itproposed some new ideas to construction the information society. This paper discusseshow companies circumvent the "islands of information","information trap" and otherdifficulties. It also proposed a new more comprehensive information embodiment. Atthe same time it emphasizes the important role of some new ideas such as buildingenterprise information environment and information engineering supervisionmechanism in the process of enterprise informationization. Through the discussion andanalysis of these contents, the writer hopes to provide some new ideas for the currentconstruction of enterprise information.
