In this paper, the main purpose is to maximize extraction in the area related to rock (sedimentary rocks, igneous rocks and metamorphic rocks), the structure of information from the remote sensing images. To study on the temporal and spatial distribution of geological phenomena and their relationship with each other; Inferred geological processes and their motion states, to strengthen geological work foreseen, effective deployment of field investigation, Deepen regional geological understanding. To carry out mineral prospective survey area (Chong Gang area, Da Chu Shui area) 1:2.5 133km2 million scale remote sensing geological interpretation at the same time. Using ETM image to carry out mineralization remote sensing geological feature information extraction, to carry out the analysis and evaluation of ore prospecting, to provide more information and basis for the mineral survey work. The mineralization geological characteristics of remote sensing information extraction using ETM image analysis and evaluation, prospecting, and provide data basis for the mineral resources investigation. The use of ETM data using principal component analysis based on variable alteration anomaly extraction method, extraction of key iron staining and hydroxyl alteration information, and the remote sensing anomaly classification processing, and analyzed the distribution features, to provide information support for the next step of mineral work and focus in target selection.Due to the complexity of the terrain and geological conditions of the study area, sparsely populated, traffic inconvenience, to 1:50000 geological survey work brought great difficulty. This paper aims at the application of remote sensing technology, combined with remote sensing image processing method, find out the conditions of the geological structure of the study area, for the 1:50000 regional geological survey provides more reliable information, reduce the field geological work and improve the field work and indoor mapping work effectively and thoroughly, and the remote sensing image can objectively grasp the overall features of regional tectonic, then can improve the field filling quality map, map information rich, dynamic monitoring of zone transfer process in.
