Construction Of Network Database For Drilling Engineering Design

DEDS (drilling engineering design system), with the designed function of network collaboration, can facilitate the share of designing date around the drilling-designing departments and improve the work efficiency and the level of drilling designing in the mean time.Till now, the major overseas petroleum-engineering-service companies have developed the network collaborative software, but there’s none of such CSCW(Computer Supported Cooperative Work) systems at home.The function of network database is:supporting the collaborative network design of software as well as efficient and safe data managing, thus improving the processing efficiency, and data security. In this way, drilling-designing departments will be promoted the level of information. Accordingly, it has been included as an the important part of the state major project——’Deep well drilling, testing technology and supporting equipment’Unit Six——’drilling engineering design and process software"(Project No.2011ZX05021-006). The database exerts a direct influence on the performance of the software.In the present study, by analyzing the structure and operation mechanism of DEDS at home and abroad, with the consideration of the actual needs of design center, the data management system (DBMS)-Microsoft SQL Server2008has been determined. With the analysis on the demand of DEDND (drilling engineering design network database), the framework of database and data has been built in order to clarify the relationship of each function module. Then, basing on the environment of Microsoft SQL Server2008and the text data of drilling engineering design, DEDND has been established, including194forms and2495data item design work. The database combines with the related standard of drilling design. Standard interface has been provided to upgrade and maintain conveniently. Finally, the application test has been completed on DEDND, basing on DEDS.According to the application testing of DEDND, it can implement the storage and call of data. With supporting software, it can standardize the input and output process, implement the network collaborative design and manage the parameters and graphs.
