Study On The Participation Of Chinese Non - Governmental Environmental Protection Organizations In Environmental Governance

With the expansion of environmental problems from local problems to a global issue, Non-governmental environmentalists’ organization, as an independent force with it own advantage, play an important role in preventing global pollution in various activities.Chinese non-governmental environmentalists’ organizations are the priority in the field of protecting our environment. At the very beginning, those organizations had been the main force to protect the environment. However, compared with developed countries, our non-governmental environmentalists’ organizations have little influence in making environmental policy as well as acting in social supervision.This article is mainly focusing on how citizen’s ideal of environment protection become the foundational of non-governmental environmentalists’ organization, and its difficulty in dealing with the relationships with the government,such as, how to consolidate its position in making laws and find ways to enhance self-management,etc. With these measures, non-governmental environmentalists’ organization will play an active role in protecting our environment.
