Polymer cementious waterproof coatings have two packs. One is a powder, containing cement, the other is a latex, containing about50%water. So transportation and operation problems prevent its development. In the thesis, one-pack polymer cementious waterproof coatings are developed.In the preliminary experiments, preparation method, materials, and formulation were exploited. Based on the results, effect of redispensable polymer powders, cements, filler, and amounts of water, redispensable powder, cement, additives on performance of the coatings were investigated. The results show different performance regularity with different kind of cements. Using Portland425cement, the tensile strength decreases and elongation increases with increment of indispensable polymer powder. Larger amount of redispensable VAE powder will raise the value of elongation and drop the tensile strength, however elongation and tensile strength raise with increase of redispensable acrylate powder. As amount of water introduced increases, tensile strength increases, but elongation decreases. A level range of several additives in the formulation was found.
