LFC is known as the casting of the21st century. It includes Dry sand lost foam castingprocess and resin sand lost foam casting process in domestic. LFC releases a lot of blacksmoke which has carbon black, benzene type of organic matter and small particles, etc. Thewaste gas of dry sand lost foam casting process can be completely absorbed by water ringvacuum pump which can eliminate the black smoke effectively. Resin sand lost foam castingprocess need casting binder which has strong acid, it will cause the water pollution because ofthe water has strong acid and also will corrode the water ring vacuum pump. In domestic, theLFC pollution can not be solved because of the lack of the LFC pollution study。Water pollution caused by the use of water ring vacuum pump. Water ring vacuum pumptreatment system includes:water ring vacuum pump,buffer tank, air collector and circularpool,it has low cost and high efficiency. But let out the waste water will pollute theenvironment.This article will study the water pollution problem to the domestic and test severalsamples of EPC manufacturer waste water which from the Water ring vacuum pump thetesting results show that the waste water of resin sand lost foam casting is acid, benzene classmaterial content is more than the national standard.In this paper, we design a scheme to deal with the waste gas by laying fireproof cotton toabsorb the black smoke.According to the actual situation of refractory cotton laying project, we designed a newscheme which includes internal thermal insulation, fireproof cotton and activated carbon Theexperimental results show that it can effectively solve the problem of black smoke, and notcause water pollution.
