The replacing fuel for Engines burning research is increasing, accumulated a lot ofuseful experience. Based on a R185K agricultural diesel engine, water cooled, fourstroke, with waste oil processing to produce biodiesel as a substitute raw material, adopting diesel injection in cylinder and biodiesel inlet injection of double fuel injectionmethod Oil to biodiesel inlet through the selected operating conditions, pulse width withindependent development of biodiesel in the ECU, according to the different workingconditions, select the optimal injection pulse width, experimental study on the engine in aseries of alternative. Here, the engine fuel economy and emission performance andchange trend are discussed in this paper. We can see that the changed system of diesel engine, under certain conditions, bythe management and adopt optimized way can reduce overall emissions of diesel engine.Besides, can get higher substitution rate (80%). In low and middle load, due to therelatively low temperature in cylinder, NOx reduced with the increase of the ratio; Highload of the new jet way, also comes to a substantial reduction in the NOx. HC emissions,a slight increase. Under low load condition, along with the ratio increases(less than15%),unburned HC and CO reduced. While in low load, as biodiesel supply more and more, the total yield increased a little, while in high load, HC and CO along with the ratiobigger and bigger, became significantly. So it should be in low load combustion purediesel or use smaller equivalent diesel replacement rate, high load using larger equivalentdiesel replacement rate (the ratio), with both good emissions and fuel economy.
