This paper is focused on the problem of roadway design’s theory and technology under high ground stress w hen the deep mine is excavated, and the shotcrete support is ineffective in the main roadway. Based on the main roadway’s engineering geological conditions, current mine construction and the level of stress to improve the supporting technology. Theoretical analysis, field tests and numerical analyzes are used as research means to analysis the roadway support.T hrough in-depth research and analysis of the support system under different stress conditions to draw the conclusions: The new anchor mesh supporting was used in Dadingshan Lugu Iron ore mine, coupling bolt and the metal mesh makes deformation of surrounding rock coordinated. Compared the mathematical model of the roadway deformation with the experiment data, it shows that such support ways is feasible in Dadingshan mi ne. Meanwhile, through numerical analysis and field test a comprehensive analysis, the new roadway bolting and shotcreting in the action of grouting and prestressed make the deformation of roadway has been effectively controlled in third Jinchuan nickel mine.
