Polymer flooding is a common means of flooding in domestic oilfield. With the increase of mining efforts, more and more high temperature and high salinity reservoirs have been mined, but ordinary polymer flooding ca n not adapt to this harsh environment, therefore, a series of new and efficient polymer been developed. When research the technology of oil sewage treatment, in addition to the single physical methods, researchers are now turning to the development of efficient chemical treatment agents, complexing agents is currently the most widely used chemical treatment agents, they can change the existing state of metal and effectively improve the polymer solution viscosity.This article describes the differences in te mperature and salt resistance between SPAM and HPAM, and explores the polyacrylamide solution of the viscosity influence factor, such as amount of substance concentration, temperature, salinity, p H, metal ions. Systematically screening out of eight kinds o f systems complexing agents, reducing the amount of divalent metal ions in SPAM system to increase the viscosity. Screening out antioxidant,Facing the excellent complexing agent and antioxidant complexed. To use the optimal reagent composition to carry on the polymer solution viscosity stability tests and flooding experiments. The results showed :(1) Influence of divalent metal ions on the polymer solution viscosity was much higher than the monovalent metal ions; compared with HPAM, SPAM had more excellent temperature and salt resistance; the viscosity of SPAM increasing with the increase of polyacrylamide solution concentration, the decrease of temperature and salinity, when p H at 11 the viscosity of polymer was highest;(2) Metal ion complexing agent could effectively complex divalent metal ions in water, but under the same conditions, the optimum amount of each complexing agent was not the same, and different complexing agent had different thickening effect. The organic complexing agent had the best triethanolamine effect, the inorganic complexing agent was sodium gluconate, compared with SPAM solution without complexing agent, the solution viscosity were increased by nearly 2-times.(3) Compared to the blank polymer solution and the polymer solution wit h one single agent, Polymer solution had the highest viscosity adding the complexed complexing agent, thus, the complexed complex reagent was very effective to improve the initial viscosity of SPAM.(4) In viscosity stability test, initial viscosity and stability of the polymer solution were significantly increased adding the complexed complex reagent.(5) In the flooding experiments, polymer systems compared to the blank polymer systems taken rate increased by 15% adding the complexed complex reagent.
