The Study Of Contemporary Chinese Ecological Science Popularization

From the point of national development objective, Comrade Hu Jintao, pointed out that ecological civilization construction should be vigorously promoted to achieve China sustainable development and the ecological civilization construction, together with economy, politics, culture and society, seemed as a "five in one" national development layout in the report of China Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party on November 8,2012. Then on November 12,2013, during the third plenary session of the eighteenth Chinese Communist Party gentral committee, Xi Jinping stressed again the importance of ecological civilization construction. From the point of the ecological environment in reality, the human race has gone through the past three or four hundred years of industrial civilization. As a result, the transformation of nature by human race has gone beyond the capacity limit of nature, thus, ecological crisis has become a serious threat to the survival and development of mankind. From the point of how to promote ecological civilization construction, it is imperative to improve the quality of civic ecological knowledge, develop eco science popularization career and bulid human eco consciousness.The paper mainly studies the development of contemporary Chinese ecological science popularization, divided into six chapters. The first chapter is introduction section, introducing the research background, significance, content, methods and relative research achievement at home and abroad. The second chapter is the basic theory of ecological science popularization, describing the concepts of ecological science popularization, theoretical basis and interdisciplinary basis. The third chapter is the course of development of ecological science popularization. The fourth chapter is revealing the difficulties in developing ecological science popularization and foreign ecological science popularization cases. The fifth chapter is countermeasure to develop ecological science popularization. The sixth chapter is Conclusion. Combined with the actual situation and research need, the paper mainly adopts the following research approaches:literature analysis, historical analysis and comparative analysis.China ecological science popularization is facing the following issues:funds raising channels are limited, volunteer team is weak, policies are not practical and the approaches of ecological science popularization are lack of innovation. And eco-agriculture science popularization lacks new measures. The paper analyzes four foreign ecological science popularization modes, the Eurasian sightseeing agriculture, the U.S. agricultural experiment station, the Israeli pilot demonstration base and Singapore agricultural science and technology. China can draw on the experience from four foreign modes. Based on the ecological status and foreign cases, the paper proposes two types of countermeasures. Firstly, measures for all ecological science popularization are:to broaden channels to raise funds, to strengthen the management of volunteer team, to put the outstanding ecological science works into the assesment of professional title, to focus on social hot spots, to improve ecological science popularization network construction, to strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, and to strengthen the construction of national ecological civilization education bases. Secondly, measures for eco-argriculture science popularization are: to promote economic entities into ecological science popularization, to promote study and research into popularization and to upgrade dissemination of ecological science.
