| Global climate changing has brought increasingly serious environmental problems to the entire world. Many countries have set greenhouse gas emission reduction targets for each stage to respond mitigation actions. They have adopted a series of measures actively to control the emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas into the atmosphere without limiting. Because of the high concentration of carbon dioxide in the air, haze weather is more and more serious in China recently. China have put forward emission reduction targets to realize the carbon emission intensity dropping 40%~45% in 2020 than in 2005, taking part in the trend of preventing activities of global warming.Based on the background of the development of carbon trading market in China, this paper researches the realization of China’s emission reduction targets in 2020. Firstly, the paper use the energy consumption data of our country from 2000 to 2013 years to calculate the emissions of carbon dioxide and carbon emission intensity of these years on the bases of improved IPAT model. And then, using grey prediction model to draw the carbon intensity data of 2020. By contrast of reduction targets and the carbon emissions of all over the world, making conclusion that the pressure of realizing carbon dioxide emission reduction commitment in China is very large giving that China is also the biggest carbon emitter. Secondly, the thesis mainly discusses the development of seven carbon trading markets in our country, concluding Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Chongqing, Hubei, Guangdong and Shenzhen and the international CDM project market. At the same time, statistical analyzing what the carbon trading market has been achieved until now. Finally, this paper researches the defects of carbon trading market in China at present and puts forward the corresponding policy recommendations to promote the realization of China’s carbon dioxide emissions, and pursue the road of sustainable development. |
