Currently, the sewage parameters on-line monitoring system is mainly used to monitor the sewage quality parameters of the sewage treatment plant outlet, but no more attention to the intake, so that the sewage quality of the enterprises can not be effectively monitored and no matter what kind of sewage is all processed, which results in increasing the operation cost of the sewage treatment plant. Therefore, it is very necessary to monitor the wastewater parameters of the sewage treatment plant intake. First, the enterprises can be charged, which is based on the different waste water parameters; Second, real-time monitoring intake sewage parameters can provide certain reference to improvement of the sewage treatment process.In the light of the intake five industrial sewage parameters: pH, temperature,suspended solids, salinity and flow, an on-line monitoring system has been designed and developed. In the part of hardware design, the measuring method, the principle, the applicable conditions and the performance characteristics have been analysed for each parameter. On the basis of the intake sewage quality status, the modular design principle has been proposed to make the type analysis and the selection design for the pH sensor,the temperature sensor, the suspended matter sensor, the salinity sensor and the flowmeter.By analyzing the stability and the anti-jamming in the process of the data acquisition and transmission system, the type selection design and the signal conditioning circuit design have been done for each sensor transmitter and the data acquisition,and the construction of the hardware system has also been completed, which ensures the stability and the reliability of the system. In the part of software design, the functional requirements and the development tools of common software has been analysed, the configuration software has been adopted to design and realize the related functions of the field monitoring dynamic simulation screen, data management and video monitoring etc. By debugging,running and the comparative experiment analysis of the software and hardware system, the availability, the stability and the accuracy have been verified for the system.The multi-parameter and multi-channel industrial sewage on-line monitoring system has been realized from the aspect of hardware and software, which has the features of simple operation, comprehensive function and good real-time. The problem of the long analysis cyclehas and inaccurately reflecting the current status of the sewage quality has effectively been solved for the traditional manual method. At the same time, thephenomenon of the sewage parameters seriously exceed the standard can effectively be restrained and the operation cost of the sewage treatment plant can be also greatly reduced.So the system has practical significance and value.
