| Methanol Plant of Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group Coal Chemical Branch Company, established in 2004, is the first project of No.1 Project in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.This project adopts GE gasifier process with waste boiler to produce methanol, which is the first gasifier with waste boiler in Asia. This plant is not only energy-saving, but also environmental protection. Due to the loss of some original data and lack ofoperation experience, lots of problems were encountered during the initial operation. Slagging was the typical restriction factor, which has been solved gradually through years of operation and technological transformation. With safe, stable, long-time and full load operation, the problem of environment protection and energy efficiency become significant, high energy consumption is needed to solve. This paper, using Aspen Plus analog system to operate and master the material balance, comparing with the actual operating parameters, is to study on the problem of high coal consumption and large amount of wastewater discharge during the operation, and achieve the purpose of energy saving through technical improvement. |
