Production Optimization Analysis And Research Of Texaco Coal-Water Slurry Gasification With Whole Waste Heat Boiler Process

Texaco coal-water-slurry(CWS)pressurized gasification technology is one of the most mature coal gasification technologies applied to industry.Shenhua Ningxia Coal Mining Group introduced three sets of Texaco gasification units with whole waste heat boiler process from Shougang Group in 2004,for methanol production with designed capacity of 250 thousand tons per year.As there was little application of Texaco's gasification technology with waste heat boiler process in domestic industry,many problems have been encountered in the actual operation process.This study summarized and analyzed the problems encountered in Texaco gasification system with waste heat boiler process from commissioning till now and the pertinent improvement methods.The CWS preparation system was improved by replacing mill balls and redesigning the outlet end face of mill,which led to the increase of the stability and load of CWS preparation system.Aiming at solving the problem of unstable operation caused by low pressure of soot blowing system in the gasifier,the valve of soot blowing system was replaced to increase the soot blowing pressure.The structure of quenching water system in the gasifier was redesigned and the size of quenching water nozzle was modified to solve the problem of quenching water system in the gasifier,such as unstable water supply,large water consumption,easy slag blockage.The problem of unit shutdown caused by the leakage of membrane-wall was effectively solved by bypassing convective water wall of the gasifier,cutting and replacing the pipe of radiation inner core and plasma spraying of membrane-wall.The above optimization and improvement not only greatly improved the operation stability of the gasifier,but also provided actual reference for the long-time stable operation of similar membrane-wall gasifiers.
